Looking For Ghosts atThe Old Brighton Cells
A tall dark shadow figure said to be the ghost of Henry Solomon, Brighton’s first Chief Constable, who was brutally murdered by an inmate wanders the passageways. The figure of a monk has also been seen on the lower levels, this location was built upon a former monastery. The sound of a whispering woman has also been heard by people visiting the cells.
Finally decommissioned in the 1960s the old Police cells of Brighton were used as a council storage facility. Now the location is open as the Brighton Police Museum and is home to several artefacts relating to the Police force and the cells. Through time there have been a number of reports from inmates, staff, council workers and visitors, with a distinct consistency in their reports.
We will be in search of conformation of the ghosts that haunt The Old Brighton cells. In small teams the mission will be to collect evidence using traditional methods such as séance, glass moving etc right up to the latest ghost equipment using infrared, electro magnetics and using some rare equipment such as Ghost Ark, and an actual Franks Box, the Music box, and so on. No experiment is compulsory as we do our best to identify who the ghosts of The Old Brighton cells are and why they haunt this location.
The cost for the night is £59 per head, 8.30pm for an 8.45pm start. The night will finish by 1.30am, by which time you will have had the chance to experience what it is like to be a paranormal investigator, and had the opportunity to try a mixture of traditional techniques as well as modern technology to try to decide for yourselves – WHO HAUNTS The Old Brighton cells ?
