Festung Mirus (also known as Mirus one)

Built during the occupation of Guernsey by Nazi Germany using the forced labor of prisoners of war many of them lost their lives during its construction. There were four Mirus batteries built in Guernsey each one identical in construction with over 20 rooms, doorways and passageways and each emplacement would of been home to around 70 Nazi personnel.

We have investigated several of Guernsey’s haunted treasures in the past including Mirus number 4 which sits as one of the most foreboding experiences with the team members who took part in those events. I was messaged just a few weeks about an experience which had taken place that week where a full apparition was witnesses standing just 5 feet away in full Nazi uniform. Until now its not been possible for any form of ghost investigation at Mirus number one and is thanks to Festung Guernsey that this location is now available for paranormal exploration. This will be the first ghost hunt of any kind held at this location.

The mission will be to try and collect any evidence of ghosts using the latest investigation equipment and also some traditional methods which include an original Franks Box, Thermal imaging, The use of Infrasound capable Ghost Ark equipment, the Crosshair detector, Full Infrared Video and many other devices.

In small teams we will be conducting various experiments old and new to try and establish who haunts Festung Mirus

The cost for the night is £69 per head, 8.00pm for an 8.30pm start. The night will finish at 1.30am, by which time you will have had the chance to experience what it is like to be a paranormal investigator, and had the opportunity to try a mixture of traditional techniques as well as modern technology to try to decide for yourselves – WHO HAUNTS Festung Mirus
